Situated on the western side of St Andrews and within a fifteen minute walk or five minute drive to the Famous Old Course. This apartment forms the ground floor of a modern apartment block.
The property has its own main door and has a lovely aspect overlooking gardens to the front. The apartment has been recently refurbished to a very high order with no detail overlooked and there are quality fittings and furnishings throughout. The property boasts a bright and spacious lounge, a fully fitted kitchen, two double bedrooms, both en-suite with zip and links beds so the rooms can be set as doubles or twins, a further main bathroom.
The town centre is within easy walking distance from the property. There is a beautiful woodland walk called the Lade Braes which begins close to the property and takes you all the way into the centre of St Andrews. The medieval town of St Andrews offers a lot more than golf itself, with its historic buildings, university, colourful boutique shops, bars and restaurants, not to mention its magnificent award winning beaches, the town is a virtual treasure trove of attractions for tourists of all ages. Changeover Days
Variations do occur for changeover days, if you see something is available but cannot book it, then please contact the office, either by email or phone on info@apartmentsinstandrews.com or 01334 828688. We will try to be asaccommodatingas we can. If booking a short breakyourarrival and departure days can vary. If your booking is within two weeks of your arrival date therestrictionsbelow may be relaxed. Please use the information below as a guideline when booking Fairway House.
All short breaks are a minimum of three nights.
We do not allow Sunday as an arrival or departure day.
Changeover days for Graduation week may vary.
Changeover day for the week of the British Open Championship is Monday, with a full weeks only permitted.
Changeovers for the weeks of Christmas and Hogmany may vary, with a four day minimum stay.
Getting to St. Andrews
Arriving by train;
Leuchars is the closest station. It is five miles away. there are normally taxis waiting and there is also a regular bus service to St. Andrews which runs in conjunction with the arrival of the trains.

Arriving by car;
- From Edinburgh, head for the Forth Road Bridge, then join the M90 and stay on this road until junction 2A sign posted Glenrothes, Kircaldy, this will take you on to the A92 where you can then follow the signs for St. Andrews. To view the route on-line go to www.theaa.com and put in Edinburgh to St. Andrews
- From Glasgow, leave Glasgow on the M8 and head for the Kincardine Bridge, once over the Kincardine Bridge take the A985 and head for Glenrothes, Kircaldy, this will take you on to the A92 where you can then follow the signs for St. Andrews. To view the route on-line go to www.theaa.com and put in Glasgow to St. Andrews

We had a fabulous stay at the apartment for our friends wedding. Its a cracking place and beautifully presented. The beds are extremely comfortable and all the linen is top notch. We would definitely stay here again should we find ourselves in St Andrews.

fantastic location
The flat in Fairway House Chambers Place was immaculate, minimalistic, perfect size for 5 people, with the 3 bathrooms 2 ensuite. We had not appreciated it was an 8 minute drive from town. Taxies from town were very easy to get and extremely helpful, so no problem.

Second trip just as good as the first one
Would highly recommend staying here – the apartment is furnished to a very high standard and located a short walk (through a park) from the town centre. We first stayed here in 2016 and the standard is just as high as it was then. Will be back in the future.
