Overall I have been very impressed with NDSU. I have been strictly online so I am not sure about on campus, but online the professors have mostly been pretty prompt with their responses. NDSU also offers many programs and assistance to students like tutoring and TRIO for support if students need it. I like the variety of classes available online but there could be more availability online. Although, I understand the need to be in person, it would be nice for those like me with mental health issues or are extremely introverted to have the online option.

NDSU is an active community, it ensures that students are getting involved but also making sure they are liking their time at college. It has a very diverse community and does not fail to recognize the different cultures so no one feels unheard/ left out. They also include things in the curriculum that are current in today’s world and also helps students who may not understand some things. The professors are awesome and most are more than willing to help you if you have questions or concerns.

I liked NDSU because of their dual degree social work program. They worked in partnership with Minot State university to give social work students two degrees in 4 years. I also really liked the campus atmosphere. There was always something going on and people were always trying to get students involved on campus. I would like to see them change their professors because many of them had such a focus on research that they spent little to no time connecting with their students. I would also like to see a higher recognition for the social work program in overall campus life because we are often overlooked.
