Technology
The Qsep Bio-Fragment Analyzer replaces old-fashioned, labor-intensive gel analysis of DNA, RNA and proteins. The single-channel capillary electrophoresis (CGE) system automates sensitive, high-resolution analysis of 1 to 96 samples, in 2-7 minutes per run. Ready-to-run gel cartridges allow up to 200 samples to be analyzed with a minimum of hands-on interaction, reducing manual handling errors and eliminating the need for gel preparation. An intuitive Q-Analyzer software ensures convenient analysis and documentation of data.
The Qsep Bioanalyzers provide accurate results in three simple steps:
- Insert the disposable pen-shaped gel cartridge into the instrument.
- Place the samples in the sample tray.
- Choose the appropriate method and run. In just a few minutes, users can get reliable results in diverse formats (PDF, Word, Excel), including peak and gel charts.
Qsep instruments
The four Qsep Fragment Analyzer models differ in the number of samples that can be performed per run.
Handling, technology as well as the type and quality of the feasible applications are identical.
Qsep1: For 1 to 8 samples (1 channel)
The Qsep1 instrument is comprised of a capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE) core integrated with a high sensitivity LED-induced fluorescence (LEDIF) detector and 1 to 8 well auto-sampler. The replaceable gel-cartridge automatically regenerates the capillary gel between runs and can be used for up to 200 sample injections providing robust and superior results for all kinds of molecular genetic analysis applications.
Qsep1with variety of replaceable gel-cartridge kit is specifically designed for DNA, RNA and Protein analysis providing reproducible and accurate test results in matter of seconds.
Qsep1 comes with Q-Analyzersoftware which has a simple-to-use User Interface (UI) that delivers consistent and high-precision data analysis and data export functions helping users to turn molecular biology into “Moving” biology.
Qsep1-Plus: For 1 to 16 samples (1 channel)
Qsep1-Plus is ideal for small laboratories with low throughput (1~15 samples) needs. If only profiling is needed, the sample capacity can be up to 16 samples.
Qsep 100:For up to 96 samples (1 channel)
Qsep100is a small, simple and user friendly bench top capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE) system integrated with a high sensitivity LED-induced fluorescence (LEDIF) detector with an easily-replaceable gel cartridge and 96-well auto-sampler. The 150 mm long capillary mounted into the cartridge contains a gel matrix that is replenished from the top reservoir of the cartridge automatically between sample runs. The reservoir provides sufficient gel for up to 200 sample injections providing robust and superior results for all kinds of molecular genetic analysis applications.
Qsep100with variety of replaceable gel-cartridge kit is specifically designed for DNA, RNA and Protein analysis providing reproducible and accurate test results in matter of seconds.
Qsep100 comes with Q-Analyzersoftware which has a simple-to-use User Interface (UI) that delivers consistent and high-precision data analysis and data export functions helping users in their daily molecular biology experiments.
Qsep 400:For up to 96 samples (4 channels)
Qsep400 has the highest throughput in the Qsep family. The 4-channel instrument is designed as a 4-capillaries gel electrophoresis (CGE) system, integrated with a high sensitivity LED-induced fluorescence (LEDIF) detector with an easily-replaceable 4-channel gel-cartridge and 96-well auto-sampler, which can analyze / detect four samples at the same time.
Qsep400has been designed for the larger research and clinical laboratories, who have large sample volumes. The high-throughput system provides high-speed analysis, superior results for all kinds of molecular genetic analysis applications. Qsep400 with variety of replaceable gel-cartridge kit is specifically designed for DNA, RNA and Protein analysis providing reproducible and accurate test results in matter of seconds.

Das Gerät ist absolut Spitze! Auflösung und Sensitivität von dem Gerät sind wirklich toll. Wir haben den Qsep mittlerweile fest in unsere workflows für RNA-Seq und Ribo-Seq Experimente integriert und ich habe bereits einige NGS libraries damit analysiert. Bisher lief immer alles problemlos und wir sind froh, dass wir unsere libraries endlich auch in-house analysieren können, bevor wir sie zum Sequenzieren verschicken. Vor allem die Messung in den micro-vials ist sehr bequem, gerade wenn die Ausbeute bei der library prep eher gering war.
