Heather Locklear as Amanda Woodward

The Cast of Melrose Place: Where Are They Now? (1)

Originally brought on to boost ratings for the show's second season, Heather Locklear played advertising executive Amanda Woodward, a character that would go on to land on endless "Best TV Villains" lists for years to come. "It was definitely a height of my career, it was great," she told Good Morning America in 2012.

While Locklear's presence proved successful for the show, her return on the Melrose Place reboot in 2009 didn't save the series from cancellation: The show only lasted one season.

In the years since, Locklear has made TV appearances on Franklin & Bash, Fresh Off the Boat and Too Close to Home.

Locklear's personal life took a hit when she was arrested in February 2018 on suspicion of felony domestic violence and battery on a police officer. The incident allegedly began when police received a domestic violence call around 9:40 p.m., after which officers arrived at her home in Thousand Oaks, Calif., according to The Blast.

TMZ reported that while Locklear was being arrested, the actress allegedly attacked a cop, which led to her additionally being arrested on three counts of misdemeanor battery on an officer.

Previously married to musicians Tommy Lee (from 1986 to 1993) and Richie Sambora (from 1994 to 2007, and with whom she shares a daughter), Locklear has been engaged to her high school sweetheart, Chris Heisser, since 2020.

Thomas Calabro as Dr. Michael Mancini

The Cast of Melrose Place: Where Are They Now? (2)

Slipping into the white coat of Dr. Michael Mancini on the '90s drama, Thomas Calabro was the only original cast member to remain a series regular from start to finish.

"With the notoriety of being so identified with Michael Mancini, it's a blessing [and] a curse," Calabro, who starred in the 2009 reboot, told SheKnows the following year.

While Melrose Place remains his most memorable role, the actor has kept busy in the TV realm, appearing on shows such as NCIS, Glee, The Last Ship and The Bay through the years.

Andrew Shue as Bill Campbell

The Cast of Melrose Place: Where Are They Now? (3)

Despite playing Bill Campbell on the show for six years, Andrew Shue set his sights on different goals following his departure. In addition to playing professional soccer, Shue — alongside his childhood best friend Michael Sanchez — became a co-founder of CafeMom and nonprofit Do Something.

Regardless, Shue still looks back fondly on his time on the show. "We weren't catty. There were no divas. It really was a family," he recounted.

Shue married Good Morning America anchor Amy Robach in 2010. However, the two separated in August 2022 and made headlines after Robach was spotted holding hands with her co-host T.J. Holmes in November of that year.

Josie Bissett as Jane Mancini

The Cast of Melrose Place: Where Are They Now? (4)

Josie Bissett played Jane Mancini — the wife of Dr. Michael Mancini (Calabro) — a main character for the first five seasons, and returned again as a series regular for the show's final season.

After wrapping up on the show, Bissett had a recurring role on The Secret Life of the American Teenager from 2008 to 2013 and made a two-episode appearance on the Melrose Place reboot. She also starred in the Wedding March Hallmark movies.

Bissett was married to her Melrose Place cast mate Rob Estes for 13 years before divorcing in 2006. The couple has two kids, Mason and Maya.

Doug Savant as Matt Fielding

The Cast of Melrose Place: Where Are They Now? (5)

The original cast member left Melrose Place after six seasons when his character, Matt Fielding, died in a car crash.

Unlike the actor's onscreen counterpart, Doug Savant has led a notable life, snagging coveted recurring roles on Desperate Housewives and 24, in addition to one-off appearances on dozens of shows.

He has been married to Melrose costar Laura Leighton since 1998. "We were friends on the set, but then it became, 'Oh my God, this person I think is so perfect is right here,' " Savant told PEOPLE in 2007. "The best thing that happened to me as a result of Melrose was meeting my wife." The couple has two children.

Lisa Rinna as Taylor McBride

The Cast of Melrose Place: Where Are They Now? (6)

Soap star Lisa Rinna joined the series in season 5 as troublemaker Taylor McBride, who broke up marriages, faked a pregnancy and launched an elaborate scheme to try and get her ex-husband back.

She left the show after season 7, but continued on with her stint on Days of Our Lives and a series of other TV gigs.

She has been married to actor Harry Hamlin since 1997 and has two daughters, Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray.

She was also on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for eight seasons, departing the show in 2023.

Grant Show as Jake Hanson

The Cast of Melrose Place: Where Are They Now? (7)

Sought after by producer Aaron Spelling, Grant Show was cast as Jake Hanson on a few episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210 before starring on Melrose Place.

Two years before its 1999 cancellation, Show, along with a handful of cast members, left the soap. From there, the actor appeared on shows such as Big Love and Devious Maids and played Blake Carrington on the Dynasty reboot.

Show married Pollyanna McIntosh in 2004, though they divorced in 2011. He has been married to Katherine LaNasa since 2012 and they share one daughter.

Kelly Rutherford as Megan Lewis

The Cast of Melrose Place: Where Are They Now? (8)

Initially coming onto Melrose Place as an escort named Megan Lewis, Kelly Rutherford worked on the show from 1996 to 1999.

While starring on Melrose was a big deal for any actress in the '90s, Rutherford's most memorable role remains her turn as Lily van der Woodsen on all six seasons of Gossip Girl. She's also popped up in multi-episode arcs on shows including Reckless, Gone and Dynasty, and was a series regular on Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.

Rutherford has been married twice and has two children with ex-husband Daniel Giersch.

In 2016, he reunited with Melrose costar Bissett in the TV movie Wedding March 2: Resorting to Love. Wagner also appeared on Dancing with the Stars in 2012 and in the Netflix movie Falling for Christmas in 2022.

Wagner began dating Melrose costar Locklear in 2007. The two got engaged in August 2011 but called off the engagement in November of that year.

Married to General Hospital costar Kristina Wagner from 1993 to 2006, the former couple has two sons. The younger son, Harrison, died in June 2022 at age 27. Wagner also has a daughter, Kerry, from a previous relationship.

Laura Leighton as Sydney Andrews

The Cast of Melrose Place: Where Are They Now? (11)

Aside from spending four years on Melrose as Sydney Andrews — a role she reprised in the short-lived reboot — Laura Leighton has the show to thank for introducing her to her costar-turned-husband, Savant. The pair has been married since 1998 and have two kids together.

Professionally, Leighton had a seven-year turn (2010–2017) as Ashley Marin on Pretty Little Liars. She's also appeared in an episode apiece of L.A.'s Finest, Dynasty and Fantasy Island.

Marcia Cross as Dr. Kimberly Shaw

The Cast of Melrose Place: Where Are They Now? (12)

Although a majority of people may recognize her from her eight seasons on Desperate Housewives, Marcia Cross first made a major splash with her five-season stint on Melrose Place, which delivered one of the show's most memorable scenes: When her character, Dr. Kimberly Shaw, revealed her scar after pulling off her wig.

The Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated actress also had a role on Quantico from 2015 to 2017.

Cross has been married to husband Tom Mahoney since 2006; they share twin daughters, Eden and Savannah.

In 2017, Cross was diagnosed with anal cancer, but as of 2018 has been in remission.

The Cast of Melrose Place: Where Are They Now? (13)

Seasons 1 through 4 saw Daphne Zuniga take on the role of Jo Reynolds, which she reprised on the 2009 reboot. "The kids don't know us but their parents do," Zuniga told Good Morning America in 2012 of still being recognized.

After Melrose, Zuniga appeared on One Tree Hill from 2008 to 2012. In addition to popping up in one-off performances on some TV shows like NCIS, Fantasy Island and Dynasty, she's also appeared in numerous films, including Summer Forever (2015), Heartbeats (2017) and Abigail Falls (2018).

She married longtime boyfriend David Mleczko in 2019.
